Hey, I'm Jordon. I'm probably above your average tech enthusiast, but not because of the latest gadgets or impressive specs. It's the connection technology brings. Sometimes I can feel my interactions with software and hardware in ways I can't quite articulate yet. My understanding of history tells me that no time period has had as much potential for innovation and communal thriving. I hope to be a part of the adaptation of our new systems.

I've been involved with software for most of my life, using apps of all kinds for as long as I can remember. Now I'm working with the physical parts of our networks, appreciating what we've built while recognizing how we got here. I learned to code through setting up Minecraft servers and mods while I was younger. Programming always served as a means to an end, and I enjoyed making friends and engaging with online communities. I never stuck to a single language because I utilized whatever would get me the best result. I still think this way. These days it's mostly Python, HTML, and Markdown. I always tell my friends I can do crazy things with a CSV file.

I do believe in abundance and that we have distribution and allocation problems rather than resource problems. Earth has always held everything we've needed. Personally, everything I've ever wanted to do or will want to do will be on Earth.

Throughout my academic journey, I've encountered numerous challenges and opportunities to learn and grow. I'm approaching life like a puzzle—some pieces require careful analysis and strategy, while others fall into place. I'm here for knowledge and expertise, and have come to value credibility and integrity above most.

I've only ever used macOS for my general computing and development. I get asked all the time how I know all these things, and I honestly still feel like I'm playing catch up. I have things I know I know, things I know I don't know, and everything else I haven't discovered yet.

This website serves as a directory for all things Jordon. I hope my experiences and tools can help guide others to create. I'm running this site through GitHub Pages, a simple and free way to get information out and make it accessible from anywhere.

In all that I do, I hold three guiding principles dear: building for others, optimizing efficiency, and embracing enjoyment along the way. Funding, time, and will have to be involved in building. Without one, a task can't reach completion. When an individual organizes these three effectively, that is building. When we combine them together and coordinate our efforts, that is building together. I aim to find others who share these principles.
